Arlen Dale "Bucky" Bockhorn (born July 8, 1933 in Campbell Hill, Illinois) is a retired American basketball player. He was a guard for the NBA's Cincinnati Royals (1958–65). He played college basketball at the University of Dayton and is a member of Dayton's Hall of Fame and All-Century team.
In 7 seasons he played in 474 games, played 14,791 minutes (31.2 per game), had a .403 field goal percentage (2,245 for 5,574), .748 free throw percentage (940 for 1,256), 2,234 rebounds (4.7 per game), 1,645 assists (3.5 per game) and 5,430 points (11.5 per game).
Since 1970, Bockhorn has provided the color commentary for WHIO radio broadcasts of University of Dayton men's basketball games. In 2010, he was awarded the Bob Vetrone Atlantic 10 Media Award by the league's sports information directors.[1]
